East Hampton house, site of notorious murder, sells for more than $8M The East Hampton home where financier Ted Ammon was murdered by his wife s lover in 2001 has sold for more than $8 million. The sellers of the six-bedroom home at 59 Middle Lane were the late financier s adoptive children, Greg and Alexa Ammon, who were 10 years old at the time of the murder.
